Quality Control Manager

Carry out QC policies, procedures and directions in the development of and compliance with company Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP'S).
Ensure that all QC Technicians and plant personnel are properly trained with regards to quality programs, procedures, safety and housekeeping.
Ensure that all equipments are calibrated and functioning.
Ensure the free flow of information between departments by identifying and troubleshooting problems in the production process.
Perform various duties under specific direction of the Director of QC, and with the Compliance Manager.
Other duties as assigned.
Directly supervise 6 employees in QC department.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization policies, and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees, planning, assigning and directing work, apprising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Working hours: 40+

Bachelor's Degree or 2 to 3 years related experience.
Ability to ready, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Respond to questions from group of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
Mathematical skills, geometry, trigometry, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
Resolving ability, to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
Physical demand such as stoop kneels, crouch or crawl.
Work environment - the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The nose level is usually loud.
